Position Summary:

The Technical Program Manager/Director will work under the direction of the Senior Director, Program Delivery and adhere to our Program Delivery operational model. This role will lead the successful execution of complex technology projects and programs critical to achieving business objectives.   This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and strong leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.  We are looking for someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves, dive deep into the details, and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating projects across multiple value streams, including Legal, Finance, HR, and others.  Ensuring alignment, execution, and delivery in complex environments involving compliance, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.  
  • Develop and maintain program plans, including timelines, roadmaps, resource allocation/capacity planning, budgets, and risk management strategies.  
  • Conduct quarterly review planning and fiscal budget preparation for all managed projects and programs. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders.  
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.  
  • Create and present program status reports, metrics, and dashboards to key stakeholders.  
  • Provide weekly status updates to the senior management and project team members.
  • Continuously improve program management processes and methodologies.  
  • Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving, whether it's debugging issues, optimizing processes, or facilitating critical meetings.  
  • Conduct and facilitate key activities across the SDLC process, including requirements gathering, UAT, trainings, deployment, etc.    
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
  • Performs other work-related duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Required Education/Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization – knowledge and experience with SAP and HR systems a plus.     
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus

 

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams 
  • Strong understanding of project management and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex technical programs and managing 3rd party vendors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority 
  • Ability to multi-task multiple high priority assignments; excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to roll up your sleeves and get into the technical details when needed
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project) and ServiceNow Incident Management a plus

 

Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000
