Position Summary 
This position requires the candidate to act independently to understand the production requirements as they come in and select appropriate equipment to deploy along with the Tech Manager for the event. The role will also manage and track inventory & functionality of all equipment as it is checked in/out for each event. Additionally, the position involves supporting remote productions on site such as League Games, Press Conferences, Corporate Events etc.

 

Major Responsibilities 
•    Manage inventory of technical event related broadcast engineering equipment using Flex Rental Solutions software.
•    Maintain & ensure functionality of all equipment
•    Track RMA’s for all Broadcast Engineering equipment, liaise with various vendors to ensure timely processing.
•    Assist with production of larger events and provide on-site solo support for smaller events
•    Process RMA’s for Engineering Equipment and assist to maintain NBA Systems
•    Create detailed technical reports, equipment issue reports, and resolution action plans and assist in the resolution of any and all technical issues.
•    Ability to work all shifts associated with 24x7x365 production environments including nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

Required Skills/Knowledge
•    Hands-on experience with HD broadcasts and knowledge of HD systems.
•    Experience with transmission and audio/video quality control.
•    Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
•    Meticulous record keeping and organization
•    Ability to climb ladders, work in small spaces and have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds

 

Required Education/ Professional Experience

•    College degree in Communications/Engineering or related field
•    In lieu a college degree significant field experience will be considered

•    Demonstrated ability to work independently and creatively

•    1 - 2 years of broadcast operations, technical engineering or live event logistics experience.

 

Salary Range: $3,200 bi-weekly
