Position Summary
The Broadcast Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Broadcasti ng Content Managementgroup. This will include writi ng detailed recap reports for nati onally televised games, scribing content reportsfor a multi tude of sports producti ons, monitoring broadcasts from each NBA content platf orm andcontributi ng to best practi ces projects that drive to enhance the level of NBA broadcast content.

Major Responsibilities
Serve as the nightly liaison in the Broadcasti ng Operati ons Center for all real-ti me producti on,programming, operati ons, and content updates
Write detailed telecast recap reports for nati onal TV games
Evaluate a diverse variety of broadcast producti ons both within sports and outside the sportslandscape
Develop innovati ve ideas for NBA broadcast content projects
Review and analyze local NBA/WNBA/G League broadcasts for "best practi ces"
Work with the NBA’s broadcast partners on a variety of projects, including event producti on, bestpracti ces, and ancillary programming content

Required Experience/Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of NBA, WNBA, NBA G-League, and NBA 2K (Players, coaches, and teams)
Experience in broadcasti ng/producti on/programming industry
Strong writi ng skills
Exemplary communicati on skills
Microsoft Office expertise

Bachelor’s degree required
