Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for facilitating the production support requirements for the local production teams. They will work closely with the local production support team in NJ and the local production team in-market to facilitate access to content required for their game productions. This person will oversee day-to-day support requirements such as scheduling, editorial supervision, tracking of content deliverables, and management of the production support project employees.  This person will also work collaboratively with the Content Operations Workflow Development Associate Manager and the Operational Support Manager to ensure the successful delivery and archiving of all content.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production support staff for fulfilling all local production archival content requests, including scheduling, tracking, editorial oversite, approvals, etc.
  • Work closely with NBA local production staff and the in-market production team to ensure quick turnaround on content required for these live productions
  • Support the search and preparation of archival content for features on relevant storylines or historic match ups, etc. for the studio productions and post-produced edits
  • Work closely with the Workflow Development and Operational Support teams to help define workflows and processes for supporting day-to-day content production and distribution.

 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and/or other NLE software
  • Strong understanding of production processes, from pre-production through postproduction 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment within a group and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Highly responsive and able to take ownership of tasks

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years of experience as a manager in production environments
  • Experience in sports production would be beneficial
  • Editing experience is a plus but not required

 

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
     

 

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
