Position Summary:
Provide game notes, monitor storylines and execute necessary fact-checking to assist with highlight curation. Contributes current and historical research to enhance and contextualize nightly content and highlights deliverables.
Major Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge of NBA/basketball, research tools and techniques to assist in monitoring and informational support of highlight packages, breaking news, etc.
- Create nightly game note packets ahead of each game including pertinent storylines and noteworthy statistical information
- Provide necessary research and information to assist in pregame preparation and content deliverables
- Navigate cross-functional workflow to insure internal and external stakeholders have appropriate informational resources
- Communicate relevant statistics, developing storylines, and key game points to highlight producers and production team for timely development of content
- Provides long-term research on league trends, storylines, milestones, and historical events
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of NBA storylines current and historical
- Deep knowledge of NBA including but not limited to rules/regulations, teams/players, league history.
- Passion for research and resourcefulness in discovering storylines and trending content
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate quickly and efficiently
- Willingness to work evenings
Salary Range: $23.68/Hourly
