Job Summary:

  • Responsible for sourcing, tracking, and delivering physical and digital assets to game production teams  
  • Suggests and maintains database of game related content for remote productions and applicable ancillary programming  
  • Works with Ad Sales, Ad Trafficking, Graphics, and Music teams to ensure delivery of sponsored and creative graphic elements to remote production teams along with applicable copy  
  • QC’s video, audio, and graphic elements to broadcast standards 
  • Creates high quality, sharable content in line with the NBA brand, current and historical storylines 
  • Communicates and manages delivery of available content to remote productions and Game Distribution Center  
  • Reports to Associate Vice President, Live Game Production


Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term, long-term term and league targets in conjunction with NBA calendar, player/team milestones, current and historical storylines throughout the season
  • Ensures all video and audio clearances prior to content distribution
  • Works with Ad Sales and Traffic team to ensure maintenance, delivery, and quality of sponsored graphic elements in line with deadlines and production standards
  • Works with graphics team to ensure maintenance, delivery, and quality of graphic elements in line with deadlines and production standards
  • Works with Music Coordinator to help facilitate music requests for content and game production
  • Works with various internal departments to manage database of available content and oversee content updates as necessary 
  • Liaise directly with game production teams regarding new content crafted for their respective markets
  • Manage content distribution to live game productions, Game Distribution Center, and social media team
  • Edit and proofread content-related copy as needed  


Required Education/Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a content manager
  • Experience strategically sourcing and managing content


Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

  • Excellent knowledge of current and historical NBA storylines and social media platforms
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work non-standard hours during sport season as necessary  

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
