Position Summary:
This role will serve as an integral part of the NBA Influencer Content team, overseeing the establishment and growth of a creator talent network, cross-functional planning of content and activations, and working with various departments to support creator initiatives across the league. This work will include managing creator relationships, developing content publishing strategy for multiple social media platforms, and managing the operations and creative direction of both large and small-scale projects.
Major Responsibilities:

Leads the management of a newly established network of creator talent including communication, content audits, maintaining performance metrics data and assisting with custom footage requests

Independently manages Influencer Content distribution including working cross-departmentally to form strategy, scheduling and tracking deliverables, and identifying areas of opportunity. Will build and support processes that guarantees brand safety, satisfies deadlines, and ensures compliance with company standards

Provides creative support for Influencer Content initiatives including sharing treatments/creative briefs, managing onsite content capture when needed and support from pre-production through post-production and delivery

Supports various departments such as Marketing, Global Partnerships and others with creator activations, providing guidance for best practices, helping plan content, and providing talent resources

Keeps an eye towards innovation, creativity and data-driven decision making to optimize programming plans against key insights and targets and deliver a best-in-class fan experience

Various administrative tasks, and other tasks as needed
Required Skills/Knowledge:

Deeply knowledgeable about the sports media and entertainment landscape, specifically the NBA, its social, digital, linear and direct-to-consumer platforms and its partners

Understanding of various social media platforms, content, trends and key cultural touchpoints with a proven ability to build and platform content that works across the social landscape

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to work across departments, functions, and hierarchies with success working both independently and on a team

Strong organizational skills that aren’t sacrificed in fast-paced environments, on tight deadlines, or while balancing multiple projects

Experience building effective, genuine relationships with influencers, their management, athletes, agents, and other high-profile talent

Ability to engage with senior executives, partners and talent to share team wins, communicate insights and help solve problems while preserving relationships and maintaining quality

Flexibility to work some nights and weekends with the ability to travel, if needed

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word applications, Airtable and Google Suite. Some experience with influencer metrics platforms preferred
Experience Needed:

3-4 years’ professional experience in a social/content/digital media role required; project management experience in an entertainment or sports organization preferred

Experience analyzing large amounts of data and providing recommendations based on analysis!

Proven success developing and planning content for various social and digital media platforms to drive audience/fan growth and revenue through content!
Educational Background Required:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred areas of study: Media/Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field)
Salary Range: $105,000-$125,000
