Group and Position Summary:

The Digital Ad Solutions group, which is part of Global Media Operations (GMO), is responsible for executing media plans for the NBA, its affiliate leagues, and all teams' retained commercial inventory across all media platforms. 

 

This role is crucial in the daily operations of Digital Ad Solutions, with a strong focus on resolving ad-serving issues, creating solutions, managing projects, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure ads are successfully served across all global digital assets that generate revenue. 


Major Responsibilities

  • Escalation point for ad-serving issues across all sites and apps, to conduct investigation and provide solutions while demonstrating cross-departmental/external partner collaboration
  • Manage AdSpecs across all sites/apps and lead collaboration meetings with cross-departmental groups to uphold best-in-class standards
  • Lead for web and app ads.txt development, using cross-departmental/external partner collaboration
  • Handle Programmatic set-up and delivery, including managing experiments, review reporting, and monitor GAM Ad Review Center
  • Manage with site redesigns and implementation of new inventory
  • Manage digital group’s involvement in improving internal media system
  • Manage and troubleshoot GAM Access for new users 
  • Closely work with partners/vendors such as Google and GeoEdge 


Required Education/Professional Experience

  • Education: BA or BS degree required


Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • 5+ Years in technical ad operations, ad product, or ad QA role with a premium publisher or ad tech company
  • 5+ Years with a consistent track record in Project Management
  • Proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and programmatic marketplaces, and strong Digital Ad Trafficking knowledge
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting ad-serving issues, such as using Chrome developer tools, Charles Proxy, Location Proxies, tag testers, etc
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and JIRA (or similar project management tools)
  • Ability and willingness to work on deadline and balance multiple tasks at once with a detailed and thorough approach
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Track record of teamwork, consensus-building, and project management across functional areas and levels of seniority
  • Experience with front-end sales systems, such as Wide Orbit, Operative, or Media Ocean is a plus
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology!

 

Salary Range: [[$80,000 - $85,000]]
