Project Employee, Compensation Analyst

Position Summary:

Provide analytical support on ad-hoc compensation consulting projects and reporting.

 

Major Responsibility:

  • Provide analytical support on ad-hoc compensation consulting projects and reporting.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact with our compensation survey vendors.
  • Participate in annual salary surveys and pulse reports.
  • Identify market trends and gaps between NBA employees and market.
  • Own the market matching process for the full suite of the NBA's jobs.
  • Coordinate with HRIS on processing compensation actions.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure maximum accuracy and integrity of compensation data.
  • Act as first point of contact on general compensation requests from HR COEs.
  • Collaborate with compensation leads to make process improvements and policy changes.
  • Suggest changes and additions to the NBA's job architecture.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of salary ranges, job grades, and job families.
  • Administer executive contracts and assist with the relevant executive reporting.

 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Up to two years' relevant work/office experience - preferably in Human Resources.
  • Experience in Excel, including building analyses and models.
  • Proficiency in Power Point and MS Word applications.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or related discipline preferred
