Project Employee, Adobe Analytics Technical Specialist

The National Basketball Association is seeking an individual with experience managing Adobe Analytics (formerly Omniture) technical implementations to join the Analytics and Data Science team in Customer Data Strategy (CDS) in New York. S/he will have 2 or more years of experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate tracking and reporting needs into technical requirements for web and mobile developers.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for League and partner digital development teams to implement high quality tracking solutions and troubleshoot and resolve issues when they arise
  • Work with internal partners to define business requirements and develop the appropriate measurement plan and tagging strategy for Adobe Analytics
  • Maintain existing tech specification documents for website enhancements, mobile apps and marketing campaign tracking with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM)
  • Leverage hands-on experience working with data layers such as DTM to expose user events and actions on webpages
  • Implement pixels such as AdWords, Google Analytics, or floodlight tags
  • Proactively solve problems to pinpoint trends and anomalies in data
  • Simultaneously manage multiple Adobe Analytics report suites
  • Upgrade the NBA’s digital platforms to Adobe Launch and deliver appropriate documentation for system maintenance
  • Perform data quality audits, QA Adobe tags, identify data collection issues, suggest improvements and implement fixes

 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 2 + years of experience implementing Adobe Analytics
  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics tools (Workspace, SiteCatalyst, Data Warehouse) required
  • Experience with Adobe DTM data layer development in Javascript; Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficient in using web debugging tools for testing of tagging implementations

 

Educational Background Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
