The Administration Manager will support the CEO of NBA2K League, while also working closely with senior leaders across the League focusing on administrative initiatives that impact the daily operations of NBA2K League. This role will have a heavy emphasis in cross-functional forums, with a focus on being a liaison to internal stakeholders. This role will collaborate closely with NBA2K League senior leadership on all operational needs to help with the League’s transformation. Additionally, this role ensures all matters are handled in a timely, professional, and resourceful manner in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Manager will be a trusted agent and handle sensitive and confidential information. This role will interact with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts and may be asked to make decisions regularly with minimal guidance and supervision.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Oversee calendar management for the CEO (and other executives as needed)

  • Handle administrative duties, such as maintaining mailing lists, processing invoices and balancing department expenses

  • Lead meeting organization for broader executive or cross-functional forums (e.g., scheduling, pre-reads, note-taking, etc.)

  • Draft, edit, prepare written communications for executives

  • Support the immediate operational needs as a part of 2KL’s self-sufficiency plan (e.g., tool administration, etc.)

  • Plan and implement culture-building initiatives

  • Support additional priority workstreams for 2KL’s transformation:

    • Internal and external communications strategy & execution

    • Streamline recruiting strategy and operations

    • NBA franchise support

    • Scalable process design

  • Assist with ad-hoc needs

Required Education/Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in business administration, business operations, or project management. Experience in a startup or consulting is a plus.

  • Experience with wearing “multiple hats” and adjusting when necessary, with quick-changing needs and priorities

  • Experience working with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape

  • Able to clearly and succinctly synthesize and communicate ideas orally, in writing, and through visual presentations

Salary Range: $125,000- $140,000
