Position Summary:

 

This role will drive the efficiency and success of the NBA media sales team. This role will develop and manage sales systems and ad technologies to drive our strategy and optimize revenue. This includes market analysis, CRM, business intelligence, and reporting.

 

Major Responsibilities

 

  • Design and implement consistent ways to manage the sales process, including onboarding an OMS system, CRM optimization, coordinated sales efforts, and business reviews on a recurring basis.
  • On-board ad sales technology in partnership with product, content, and data teams to implement effective ad sales efforts
  • Project manage the execution of complex advertising campaigns, including leading Quality Assurance, Design, and coordination with AdOps, Sales, and Account Management teams, as well as external stakeholders
  • Build out tools and materials to support the ad sales process, in partnership with the sales and product team
  • Ensure delivery of training on how to articulate the value proposition and use materials. Includes process partnering with technology teams to implement effective sales technology
  • Coordinate and implement third-party and programmatic video and display opportunities for NBA Digital Domestically and internationally
  • Manage and decide on internal or external systems to help generate contracts, proposals, and posts to all customers across owned and operated, and DSP buys.
  • Develop audience-building efforts of first-party data across NBA-owned & operated and off-site media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and optimize data-driven sales strategies across various digital channels to drive measurable results

 

Required Education/Professional Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of developing relationships with sales professionals, including specialization in new relationship development

 

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

 

  •  A client-centric revenue operations leader with proven experience mentoring, managing, and influencing others
  •  Outstanding project management skills - ability to think dynamically, keep internal and external stakeholders on track, and develop mutually beneficial solutions
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people of all levels

 

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000
