Position Summary

The Global Data and Insights Strategist will lead the development and execution of comprehensive data-driven strategies to empower global marketing and partnership teams. Reporting to the Senior International Data Strategist, this role encompasses strategic leadership, advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation to drive business growth across international markets. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional technical skills, strategic vision, and a proven ability to manage complex projects and mentor team members.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and execution of global data and analytics strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement sophisticated data models and analytics initiatives using Python, SQL, and other advanced tools to unlock segmentation insights and predict user behavior.
  • Spearhead the introduction and implementation of experimentation frameworks and lead generation strategies across regions to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Initiate innovative projects and opportunities that drive engagement, revenue, and operational efficiency across regions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between global marketing teams, regional partners, and external agencies to ensure cohesive and effective execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize the data-engineering backlog to ensure timely and aligned delivery of data solutions.
  • Oversee data ingestion processes by collaborating with engineering teams to clean, reformat, and integrate diverse data sources into a centralized database.
  • Track and report on data ingestion and model performance, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage the international campaign calendar, coordinating the creation, approval, and deployment of email and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Act as an account manager for key initiatives, overseeing campaign planning, execution, and performance reporting.
  • Develop comprehensive playbooks outlining strategies for fan engagement and data monetization.
  • Create engaging user experiences to maximize engagement and lead generation.
  • Standardize and develop reporting structures and KPIs across regions, utilizing advanced data tools.
  • Analyze campaign engagement and audience metrics to support and secure sponsorship and partnership deals in various markets.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and data initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead training initiatives for project employees and regional team members, enhancing their proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Braze, Asana).

 

Required Education/Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or quantitative field preferred
  • 3-5 years working in a data analytics role 

 

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-faceted projects across international markets.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Python. 
  • Experience in data modeling, data ingestion processes, and managing large-scale databases.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies and insights.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective marketing and data monetization strategies tailored to diverse markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and persuasively to various audiences, including senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across different functional teams and markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce and drive innovative solutions and experimentation methodologies that lead to measurable improvements in engagement and revenue.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate work.

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
