Digital Products Lead - NBA G League

Position Summary:

The Digital Products Lead will oversee the management of G League digital products and initiatives across all platforms. S/he will develop a roadmap outlining the league strategy and vision. This is a cross-functional role that will partner closely with the Information Technology Department as well as the Global Content Media Distribution group. This role will also work closely with the G League Head of Content, Head of Marketing, and Head of Partnerships to ensure we maximize commercial opportunities across all platforms.

 

Major Responsibility:

  • Define, represent and communicate product vision and strategy to all stakeholders
  • Leverage leadership, experience, industry knowledge and expertise to drive innovative ideas, collaborative solutions, and delivery of market-leading products and experiences
  • Assess and identify product development and enhancement opportunities, including user interface (UI) and experience (UX) across all platforms (e.g., desktop & mobile web, app, connected devices, etc.)
  • Own the product roadmap and manage product lifecycle from concept to launch/delivery and implementation
  • Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and metrics to track and measure progress
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing to develop rollout and fan-facing communications (e.g., education, awareness, promotional, positioning, pricing if applicable, etc.)
  • Build processes to deliver products that support G League priorities and business goals

 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 8-10 years of experience managing digital products and/or technology
  • Experience managing multiple projects, setting and shifting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Results-driven and audience/consumer-minded with a track record of achievement
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Thorough understanding of existing and emerging business, market, and consumer trends across the sports industry as well as other sectors
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrix organization

 

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Required
