Position Summary:


Enterprise data definitions are the DNA of our business data products. Unifying the data from each data product line into a central data core is essential for efficient, scalable, and accurate enterprise data management. A well run and maintained set of master data is necessary for executive reporting, reduces errors due to data configuration displacement or mismanagement, and standardizes KPIs according to a centrally managed and organizationally agreed upon data dictionary. The role of the Business Data Manager is to manage the NBA's master data, data dictionary, PowerApps for master data management, and oversee data quality monitoring for master data.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Manage Master Data at the NBA
  • Manage the distributed NBA Data Dictionary
  • Develop and Manage the PowerBI Data Model for centralized and scalable reporting
  • Product Manager for core Power Apps that manage Master Data
  • Develop and Manage dashboards for master data quality
  • Contribute to the NBA’s Semantic Layer of core data
  • Support Intelligence Platform analysts


Required Skills / Knowledge:


  • 2+ years experience in PowerBI model development
  • 1+ year experience in PowerApp front-end development
  • 2+ years experience in Master Data Management
  • 2+ years in SQL
  • Experience working with analysts
  • Experience working with data architects
  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks a plus




  • Bachelor’s Degree
