Group Summary:
Media Partnerships is responsible for the sales and execution of all league media assets on league channels and within overall league sponsorships.
Job Summary:
This role is critical to the management, strategy, development, conceptualization, pricing, planning, and execution of media sales and media innovation across the NBA and WNBA media ecosystems.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead media planning and execution across variety of Official Marketing Partners at the league
- Work with NBA and WNBA marketing partners, providing white glove service to help them achieve their media goals across the NBA’s full suite of media opportunities (Social/Digital/Linear)
- Being Media representative/seller in partner renewal conversations as it relates to deal structuring
- Establishing positive relationships with key contacts at brands and agencies
- Collaborate closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure partner needs are consistently met
- Play pivotal role in how Media and Partnerships overall can drive growth of new league events
- Creatively conceptualize to demonstrate expertise amongst media industry solutions and understanding of brand goals
- Proactively share partner wins and application of media trends across internal and external contacts
Required Education/Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sports administration or related field
- 3-5 years experience within media, entertainment, and sports sales or media/sponsorship industry
- Expert knowledge of brand marketing tactics, standard media planning terminology, and metrics

- Outstanding organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects; attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact positively and work effectively with internal and external constituents!

- Excellent digital literacy (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
