Position Summary:
This position will be part of the DTC marketing team that focuses on attracting, engaging, monetizing, and retaining NBA fans through digital products such as the NBA App, NBA ID, NBA Fantasy, and NBA League Pass. The role will have a specific focus on growing, engaging and retaining the NBA ID member base with a secondary focus on supporting the operation and marketing of NBA Fantasy games, global campaigns and CRM channels in Europe and the Middle East (EME).
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide regional NBA ID campaign support in EME, developing marketing campaigns, curating the offering to NBA ID members, and working with other departments to deliver value to NBA fans.
- Manage single-sign-on integration process with 3rd party agencies and internal product team to deliver tailored EME web and app experiences that deliver value to NBA fans. Including user journey definition, build & tests.
- Support senior stakeholders to craft consumer led value propositions across all NBA digital products and translate this into cross functional marketing campaigns.
- Support on promotion of global tentpole membership marketing campaigns in EME (E.g. All-Star Voting, Bracket Challenge, members week)
- Support on operation of season-long NBA Fantasy game in EME markets, including coordinating marketing campaigns, performance monitoring and leading day-to-day game management.
- Collaborate with the NBA EME’s team’s CRM agency, supporting on planning + review of the email channel.
- Work with the basketball operations team on new and existing programs to drive participation, youth development and interest in the NBA, with a specific focus on NBA in the Classroom.
- Manage tracking and administration of specific campaigns and support in reporting results to the wider business.
- Coordinate asset distribution for specific DTC campaigns across the wider business.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- An understanding of or interest in working with digital products
- An understanding of membership programs and how they drive value
- Passion for the NBA and for sports fantasy games
- Experience in the sports/ media or other relevant industry
- Experience with managing internal and/or external stakeholders/ agencies
- Creative and enjoys problem solving.
- Excellent analytical skills and comfortable with interpreting data.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required.
- Organized and collaborative with excellent attention to detail.
Educational Background Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required
