Position Summary:

The Content Producer will work with our Content Producer Lead to develop locally relevant content across Europe and Middle East. They will also work with the US-based Int'l Programming group to use existing material in archives and develop new content to engage curious, casual and core fans - expanding our audience and ultimately increasing content consumption (e.g., TV ratings, digital and social media followers etc.).


Major Responsibility:

  • Work with the Global Media Distribution team in their support of NBA broadcast and digital partners, including weekly/monthly partner-produced NBA Customized Shows
  • Work with the Global Partnerships team by developing content opportunities to maximize revenue and engagement
  • Work with the Marketing team to create and manage content initiatives which engage the local fanbase as well as attract new fans
  • Work with the Events and PR teams to create content solutions and produce field shoots around local events (Global Games, Jr. NBA, BWB, grassroots, etc.)
  • Learn and understand all NBA content solutions such as EMEA Primetime Games (NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays), NBA Int'l Mobile Content, WSC Player Highlights, and the NBA Content Network and how they can be used to serve our partners


Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Understanding of local media market and/or NBA content production & programming
  • Experience in developing creative content solutions for sports
  • Commitment to watch and review NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays on a weekly basis and provide feedback
  • Strong interest in NBA basketball and storytelling
  • Understanding of millennials audience needs and behavior
  • Highly responsive, with a creative mindset and a passion for the game


Experience Needed:

  • 3+ years of programming and content management or sports management experience



  • Bachelor's degree required
