Position Summary
- The NBA Latin America team is seeking a data-driven marketing specialist to lead the strategic execution of personalized fan communications across the region. This role will focus on CRM and email marketing, activating fan data via our Customer Data Platform (CDP), and providing media planning support. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in increasing fan engagement throughout the NBA season and driving monetization efforts through close collaboration with the Content and Revenue teams, with a particular focus on branded content opportunities across our owned and operated digital ecosystem. This position will be based in Mexico City.
Major Responsibilities
- Email Marketing & Fan Journey Activation
- Plan and deploy targeted email campaigns aligned with the NBA calendar, tentpole events, and culturally relevant LATAM moments.
- Build and optimize automated journeys and workflows that deliver localized, personalized content based on behavioral and preference data.
- Oversee the development of visually compelling email creatives, ensuring performance-driven design.
- Continuously monitor campaign results and optimize using KPIs such as open rate, CTR, conversions, and fan engagement.
- CRM & CDP Strategy (Braze & Snowflake)
- Manage deployment of multi-channel campaigns via Braze (email, push, WhatsApp).
- Use Snowflake to activate segmented fan data and maintain high standards of data quality and governance.
- Ensure campaign targeting is data-driven and aligned with unique audience segments across LATAM markets.
- Fan Segmentation & Insights
- Develop actionable fan segments using behavioral, demographic, and transactional data.
- Produce data-backed insights that inform content, marketing, and commercial strategies.
- Adapt fan activation strategies to key NBA season phases (Tip-Off, All-Star, Playoffs, Finals, Off-season).
- Monetization & Branded Content Collaboration
- Partner with Content and Revenue teams to identify and execute branded CRM campaigns.
- Support packaging and delivery of sponsor-integrated email and WhatsApp campaigns.
- Ensure all monetized campaigns are measurable, well-integrated, and aligned with NBA LATAM business objectives.

- Support paid media planning, asset readiness, and targeting strategies across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
- Ensure consistent and integrated messaging across paid and owned digital channels.
- Contribute to post-campaign analysis and performance reporting of media efforts.
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Passionate about the NBA, players, teams, NBA ecosystem, and NBA/Basketball culture.
- Proficient in Braze and Snowflake or similar CRM/CDP platforms.
- Strong grasp of lifecycle marketing, fan journey mapping, and personalized campaign design.
- Solid understanding of paid digital media planning and platform performance (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic).
- Knowledge of branded content and monetization tactics across digital channels.
- Data-oriented mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
Experience Needed
- 4–6 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing within B2C industries such as sports, entertainment, e-commerce, or media.
- Proven experience managing fan or customer segmentation and personalization strategies at scale.
- Experience working cross-functionally with content, data, and commercial teams.
- Deep understanding of LATAM digital behaviors and audience preferences.
- Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency essential; Portuguese is a plus.
Salary Range: MXN 1,100,000 - 1,400,000
