POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for designing, developing and operating NBA fans operation platforms such as NBA Alipay mini program. The candidate will also be responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders to create relevant products and services to distribute on NBA fans operation platforms.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to formulate product improvement strategies and new product features from user research result
- Develop the product roadmap with our partners such as Alipay, NBA internal stakeholders and NBA delivery vendors, get alignment on prioritization and timelines to meet business goals.
- Act as an "entry-point" for inquiries from various stakeholders; as well as a point of contact to relevant teams across NBA and partners such as Alipay.
- Own and manage strategic projects by coordinating discussions, driving deadlines and assigning tasks across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate concisely within the team and with leadership to influence outcomes.
- Develop more commercial solutions and assets with Alipay's unique technology or capabilities to keep driving the advertising/media sales on Alipay platform.
- Lead in developing integrated marketing campaign with Alipay to draw several clients to participate so that it can bring larger influence on potential clients to recognize Alipay as an effective marketing platform.
- Keep accumulating NBA fans data and tags from various business cooperations with Alipay and apply those data and tags on commercialization and other cooperation business.
- Work together with ESG team to create joint sustainable ESG project with Ant Group, which can drive more users to donate via online interactions and content as well as attracting potential partners to join the ESG program.
- Manage and maintain strategic relationship with Ant Group via various online and offline cooperation such as bringing about the partnership between Alipay online community unit (蓝花火) with NBA Hoop Park and NBA 3X.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Extensive sports industry knowledge, especially having previous working experience in sports organization.
- Holistic brand digital campaign & content operations skills.
- Ability to develop commercial solution to meet client's marketing needs.
- Strong capability to quickly learn and understand new areas of business as well as industry best practices.
- Proven stakeholder management skills across all levels with the ability to build strong, successful relationships founded on collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure in a highly volatile environment in China.
- Ability to manage personal workload and agenda independently but in alignment with the priorities of the business unit.
- Ability to understand complex ideas and problems in a fast-paced environment with strong ability to identify, communicate, and advocate for solutions at both high and granular levels.
